Our Practice
Springfield Smiles Family Dental is a small, locally-owned practice that cares for families and patients of all ages from Springfield, VA, and its surrounding communities. Dr. Soumyata Heggade and her team make you feel like you are the only patient scheduled and craft every treatment plan to suit each patient's unique needs and desires.
Our Doctor
Dr. Soumyata Heggade
Graduated BDS from SDMCDS Dharwad in 2003. Practiced in India for 3 years, did a lot of community outreach during school and later. I moved to US and went to NYU, graduated from NYU in 2012. Worked in Front Royal rural community for 4 years before building my own practice. I am a volunteer for MRC and volunteer at events whenever I can commit some time. Volunteered at community health centers to help with COVID vaccination efforts. Love to cook and bake.
I also paint in a traditional Indian folk art form called Madhubani. Love doing DIY furniture makeovers, reading and nurturing my houseplants. Mom to a teenager and a goldendoodle and love to spend time with them.
